How did I get here?
My college job in a call center provided the opportunity to train onboarding agents, and ever since I've found myself passionate about giving people a strong professional start. I took a few detours, including public education (grades 7 & 8), management (I prefer to lead, not manage), and Talent Management (enter, HR perspective). I've worked for myself and I've worked for a publicly traded company.
I strive to create digestible, relevant, and engaging learning experiences tailored to my audience's skill and/or knowledge gaps.
Who I am (some fun stuff!)

I love to learn about and connect with people, which I support in my personal life by traveling. Training and teaching allows me to do this professionally, and it makes me incredibly powerful!

I read and write as often as I can, employing audiobooks and e-reading when holding a book isn't an option (always a preference), and Notes on my phone when I can't put pen to paper (yep, I still do that).

Proponent of exploring and valuing nature, appreciating coffee, and leaning into fantasy worlds as much as history.

A single mom by choice and dedicated parent. Not only does this demonstrate my determination and self-direction, but it generates a ferocity in my professional endeavors. I want to succeed for myself and my clients, but also for my kiddo. I want to be a model of hard work and innovation so that I send a human into the world with goals and the tools to achieve them.
What I bring to the table

Twenty years of training, teaching, and designing learning content for diverse audiences. A growth mindset and the ability to both actively listen to and give constructive feedback. A focus on coaching to a standard and adapting instruction to diverse learning styles. An understanding of both adult and primary pedagogy, principles, and practices. A passion for organizing projects and running programs by bringing people together and leveraging skill sets.
